Disabled Supporters Information
Wheelchair users:
Each stand at the DW Stadium has two designated disabled platforms with catering and toilet facilities available, along with a lift to each concourse and direct access to the platforms. These platforms are designated for people totally confined to a wheelchair. Personal Assistant seats, if required, are allocated at the side of each platform. There are additional facilities for wheelchair supporters at the front of the West Stand. As wheelchair spaces are limited, these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Supporters using this facility will be charged at a concessionary rate with their personal assistant being free of charge.
Ambulant:
Ambulant supporters can be accommodated within every stand at the DW Stadium and these places are unlimited. Concessionary rates apply.
Visually Impaired:
Although we can accommodate visually impaired supporters, headsets are limited. These are available from main reception on payment of a refundable deposit of £15. Again, supporters are charged at a concessionary rate with their personal assistant being free of charge.
Proof of disability is required when purchasing tickets at the concessionary rate.
Parking:
Limited free parking is available to our registered disabled supporters who are season ticket holders and applications must be made, in writing to our disabled co-ordinator, prior to each season. Existing permit holders will gain priority. There is also space for a limited number of visiting supporters.
Our Disabled Co-ordinator is Mrs Norma Sherratt. For ticket information, or if you have any queries or requests, please contact Norma on 08716 633 552, in writing c/o the Ticket Office or email disabledcoordinator@dwstadium.com.
