Jordan Flores was born on 4 October 1995 in Wigan, working his way through the youth ranks at Wigan Athletic, before earning a two-year scholarship, and subsequently two professional deals at the DW Stadium.

Flores represented the Under 18s for two years, before moving up to the Development Squad in 2012-13.

His impressive performances in the Development Squad earned him a number of call-ups to first team match day squads, before making his debut for the club as a substitute away at Brentford in the final game of 2014-15.

Flores has featured in three of Latics' 2015-16 pre-season friendlies, against Altrincham, Southport and Partick Thistle.

Life-long Latics fan Flores made his first professional start for the club in the Capital One Cup defeat to Bury at the DW Stadium in August 2015, before making his home league debut as a substitute in the 1-0 victory against Crewe Alexandra.

Flores was handed his first league start against Fleetwood Town in September 2015, taking it in his stride and scoring his first professional goal during the 2-1 victory.
