Grandson to the legendary Dutch international Johan, Jesjua is now a second year professional at the Club, who made ten appearances in the league and cup last season for the Development Squad.
He scored his first Wigan Athletic goal in the LFA Senior Cup quarter final tie away to Preston North End, a fantastic strike from the left corner of the penalty area that sailed into the far top corner.
Jesjua played primarily on the wing during his first season at Latics, with a cultured first touch, good awareness and the ability to create chances in and around the penalty area.
