Midfielder Jack Phillips is a new member of the Under 21 squad this season, after becoming a 1st year professional upon leaving Latics’ Under 18s.
Last season saw Phillips make just six starts and five substitute appearances but scored twice despite being side lined for most of the campaign due to injury.
It hasn’t been an easy road for the youngster but his quality on the ball and eye for a pass make him a great option for Graham Barrow to use.
