A season year professional, Steven is on the back of an impressive season in which he made 20 appearances for Graham Barrow’s and Dennis Lawrence’s Development Squad. Deployed primarily at left-back, his technique and accuracy shone through, as did his expertise from dead-ball situations, which he can often be found doing overtime on at the training ground. Showing composure when fulfilling defensive duties, Boothman has the confidence in his ability to get forward and support the attack, delivering dangerous crosses from out wide and linking up well with the front line.
