Great response from Latics, bouncing back from defeat at Walsall to claim their third win of the season against a Stockport County side who arrived at Wigan with a 100% record in the league.

Goals from Josh Langley and Adam Buxton sealed the win, and Dave Watson rounded things up saying:

"Stockport also had a good start to the season, actually winning their first three games and they made it tough for us."

"But we played some good football and deserved to win the game. I'm very pleased with them and with a lot of first-year lads in there as well it's a case of so far so good.

"So the lads have started really well, out of the first four games they've won three and should have got something out of the other game I feel."
