Tommy Amos' penalty and Abian Serrano's first goal for Latics, continued the team's superb form early on in the season.

"A decent performance which showed what good a start we've made to the season," said Dave Watson.

"We encourage them to play the right way and be comfortable on the ball, and that came across in this game.

"The hard work they put in in training really showed out on the pitch and I was very pleased with the result and the display.
