The 23 year-old signed a three and a half year deal with Latics in the January transfer window following on from a loan spell under Steve Bruce at Birmingham City.
He played 102 times for his previous club side Olimpia and scored 32 goals, he has also played 42 time for Honduras scoring twice.
He earned the nickname 'the magician' thanks to his skills and once even scored from the half way line against the Marathón club in the final minutes of a game in 2006.
Made his debut for the Latics at Pride Park on 12 January '08 and played on the left wing.
After his signing, Bruce said, "He is such a talented player because he can play on the left, on the right, in the middle, off the front and he will give something a little bit different. He was recommended to me by Arsene Wenger and I couldn't believe it when Birmingham did not take up the option to extend his loan there. He will be a really good player for us."
