19-year old Polish midfielder Tomasz Cywka signed a three year contract at the JJB Stadium in June 2006, despite being headhunted by the likes of German giants Bayern Munich.
Cywka was born in Gliwce, near the city of Krakow and was given a two week trial by the club in March 2006. Former boss Paul Jewell was so impressed he offered him a contract.
The Polish teen starlet possesses a great touch, vision and pace. and despite his young age, Cywka has already played 80 times for his country at both U18 and U19 level, and has also featured at U21 level, the youngest player to do so in Poland's history.
During the 2006/07 season, Cywka played in the Carling Cup tie at Crewe and had a successful loan spell at League One side Oldham.
