Ali Al Habsi joins Wigan Athletic for a season-long loan from Bolton Wanderers where his chances have been limited to a handful of appearances to deputise for the virtually ever-present Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Ali will help to keep pressure on the goalkeeping position with Vladimir Stojkovic and Richard Kingson both leaving the club in the summer.
The 6'5" Omani international 'keeper has made 70 appearances for his country and has also played in the Norwegian Premier League for Lyn Oslo.
