Fans can now buy tickets from the town centre store.

Wigan Athletic are pleased to announce that home match tickets can now be purchased from the new Club Shop in the Galleries, Wigan*.

It's hoped that the move will make it easier for fans that live in and visit the town centre regularly to buy tickets for upcoming Barclays Premier League games at the DW Stadium.

Head of Retail and Marketing Neil Ryan said: "The move to sell tickets at the town centre store is an obvious move for the club to make.

"The new store has proved very popular with fans in the opening week and we're very happy to provide this extra facility.

"If we can make it more convenient for supporters who can't commit for season to buy match tickets, then it's in everyone's best interests."

Tickets are now available in store for Saturday's clash with champions Chelsea. Fans are reminded that tickets can also still be bought from the DW Stadium ticket office and online for home games at www.wiganathletic.com/tickets.

*Fans may face ID checks on purchase of tickets for high profile games.
