FULL-TIME: WIGAN ATHLETIC 0-0 GENCLERBIRLIGI
A stalemate then in Latics' final game in Austria with their Turkish opponents providing tough, ideal opposition at this stage of the pre-season.
Momo Diame's effort in the first-half was the closest Roberto Martinez's side came to hitting the back of the net, but all-round there were some calm, composed passages of play inside the opposition area which will no-doubt be sharpened over the coming weeks.
85min: Not long to go now in Latics' final game of the tour, keeping possession well with
Hendry Thomas and
James McCarthy looking solid in the middle and moving the ball round well.
70min: Dekbatik Curri goes into the referee's book for a heavy challenge on
Jason Scotland just outside the area.
Jordi Gomez places the ball down and bends one over the wall that is a yard or just just wide. Good effort.
60min: SUB: James McCarthur is being replaced by Hendry Thomas. Solid performance from the Scottish midfielder, getting more minutes under his belt and looking sharp.
56min: SUB: James McCarthy comes off the bench to replace Momo Diame.
55min: Great response from Latics with Victor Moses motoring down the left-wing, getting to the by-line and cutting back for
Ben Watson whose left-footed effort is saved low-down by the 'keeper, unlucky.
53min: Michael Stewart smacks one agains the bar from inside the area, ten-yards out after good work from the opposition's winger down the right-side. A scare for Latics.
52min: Again Latics are tested at the back with full-back Alparslan Erdam breaking forward for the opposition and squeezing a shot over the bar. Genclerbirligi looking dangerous and growing in confidence now.
47min: Ali Al Habsi is called in action early on getting down well to save a Hersut Meric low-drive. Genclerbirligi asking a few questions from the off.
Just the two changes before the sceond-half with Victor Moses and Jason Scotland replacing Hugo Rodallega and Mauro Boselli
HALF-TIME: 0-0
A tough half for Latics who have been given a tough game from the Turkish outfit. Ben Watson and Momo Diame have tried tome and again to get the ball moving forward, looking for outlets on either wing, but good defending from Genclerbirligi has prevented any real break-through as of yet.
Momo Diame's effort before the break is the closest either side have come to scoring, but with a number of changes expected at the break hopefully Roberto Martinez's side can crank it up a little in the second-half.
42min: Best chance of the half falls to Momo Diame. A bursting run forward and a quick one-two with
Hugo Rodallega plays the midfielder into the area. Diame shifts onto his right-foot but can only poke just over under intense pressure. Unlucky for Momo who has had a busy half.
40min: Boselli wins back possession on the left-wing, drifts inside and lets fly from 30-yards getting a little too much underneath the ball which glides a few yards over the bar.
36min: Jordi Gomez's floated ball into the area almost finds the on-rushing Mauro Boselli, who just beaten to the ball by the covering defender.
32min: Steve Gohouri has been a rock at the back so far, winning everything in the air, brushinf off attackers and moving the ball out with confidence.
30min: Still no score-line to report on folks. Latics been given a tough test by their Turkish counter-parts today, ideal opposition for this time of the season.
14min: A yellow-card for Michael Jedinak of the opposition after a heavy, late foul on
Hugo Rodallega. Thankfully the Colombian gets to his feet un-harmed after terrorising the defence.
Ben Watson's resulting whipped in free-kick is header a yard or two over by Mauro Boselli.
10min: Patient football from Latics so far.
Ben Watson dropping deep to pick-up possession and get things moving down either wing, supported by James McArthur whilst Momo Diame's darting runs forward look to open up the defence. Genclerbirligi providing stern opposition.
3min: A fast-flowing move down the right finds
Hugo Rodallega in the middle 20-yards out. The Colombian stings one goal-wards but the 'keeper saves comfortably.
0min: And we're underway!
Emmerson Boyce wears the captain's armband starting the game at right-back after exchangng pleasantries with the opposition's skipper!
Great observation from our cameraman that the oncoming sprinklers were primed and ready to shower the kit-bag aside the pitch. More fool me for attempting to zip-it up and getting soaked in the process!
We're around 20 minutes away from kick-off here in Klagenfurt when we'll be bringing you live updates from the team's final game of their Austrian tour -
don't forget to visit the website after the game for all the post-match reaction from Roberto Martinez and the players.Good to see the travelling Latics fans who made Monday's game have turned up again today, enjoying some fine ales and catching a glimpse of the lads in action.
Oh dear, it seems one travelling fan has packed a vuvuzela with him, however it does sound as though the trumpet has had better days, or indeed the trumpet-blower!
The game also gives us another chance to see new Argentine strike Mauro Boselli in action, spear-heading the attack with
Hugo Rodallega,
Ben Watson and
Jordi Gomez backing him up.
So James McArthur has been handed his first start for Latics after impressing in Monday evening's game against NK Rudar - mind you that's hoping we haven't been handed another team-sheet error!
TEAM-NEWS: Latics: Al-Habsi; A. Trialist, Boyce, Gohouri, Baradji; Diame, McArthur; Gomez, Watson, Rodallega; Boselli

Introduction
Welcome one and all to Klagenfurt and the KAC Sportplatz for Latics' second game of their Austrian tour against Turkish side Genclerbirligi (takes us about three goes at spelling that one, let alone pronouncing it!)
Clouds have covered the sky for this game, and although there is a little humidity in the air a gentle breeze makes for ideal playing conditions.
In the distance Inaki Bergara is belting a few balls at the 'keepers to get them warmed up whilst the rest of the team have a stretch and limber up, Graham Barrow unfazed by the passing sprinklers giving the first-team coach a light shower.
Team news is moments away:
