Boys in action against Solvenian outfit tonight!

Wigan Athletic prepare for the first friendly match of their Austrian trip tonight, taking on Slovenian first division side FK Rudur Velenje at 17.00 GMT.

Little is known of the opposition, but after a bit of research we've dug up a few facts about who the lads will be coming up against this evening;

• The club was founded in 1948, making them Latics' seniors by 16-years.
• Nicknamed 'The Miners' Rudur play in a green home strip or orange away colours.
• Manager Bojan Prasnikar started his second-spell at the club this year having previously been in charge between 1995-96.
• Prasnikar is a former player of local side SVG Bleiberg.
• Last season the club managed their best performance in European competition, reaching the second qualification round of the Europa League before defeat to Red Star Belgrade.
