Mauro Boselli was on target for Latics in a pre-season friendly behind closed doors at Christopher Park on Friday afternoon.

Latching onto trialist Sekou Baradji's inch-perfect cross the Argentine hit-man headed into the ground and past the 'keeper to open his account on home soil.

Charles N'Zogbia and Hugo Rodallega both hit doubles as Latics ran out 5-0 winners against the SPL side, with Rodalega's opener the pick of the bunch.

After a smart exchange with the superb Mohamed Diame on the left-wing the Colombian striker smacked one from 30-yards which glanced in off the crossbar to open the scoring and put Latics 1-0 up.

As the game developed, Latics made changes to personnel as the side gear-up for their week-long trip to Austria on Saturday.

And it paid off on 50 minutes as former Hamilton man James McCarthy streamed through the middle of the park, and slipped in Charles N'Zogbia who tucked home into the bottom left-corner.

Moments later tidy-work from Victor Moses down the left gave N'Zogbia the chance to double his tally from six-yards, a chance he took gratefully.

Not to be outdone on the goal-front Rodallega made sure of his second ten minutes before the end, finsihing off a clever one-two move with Jason Scotland and wrapping a ball round the goalkeeper and into the bottom right corner.
