Preview
It's the classic six-pointer with the three points equally valuable to both club's, the fact tha just eight miles separate the two club's centre spots just adds to the spice of the action at the DW Stadium tonight. Three points for Latics would send them four points clear of any danger, the reverse would lift Bolton out of the bottom three.
Bolton have failed to score in the previous three meetings between the two clubs, Latics taking two of those games with the other ending in a 0-0.
Team News
Latics striking duo of Marcelo Moreno and Victor Moses are both pushing for starting places in the side, having been on the bench since their arrvival.
Midfielder James McCarthy is Latic's only injury worry, manager Roberto Martinez rating his chances as 50/50 at yesterdays press call.
Bolton will continue without the services of midfielder Gary Cahill who remain sidelined with a blood clot in his arm although the news coming out of Bolton this week is the problem is not as serious as first feared.
Centre-back Zat Knight faces a late fitness test after picking up a calf problem at the weekend.
