GOOD TO START WITH CLEAN SHEET - CALDWELL

Posted on: Sun 17 Jan 2010

Wigan defender Gary Caldwell delighted to start Wigan career with a clean sheet.

Just three days after joing the Club, Scottish defender Gary Caldwell was thrown straight to the Wolves alongside Titus Bramble at Molineux. The the 27 year old says that didn't present him with any problems owing to the fact that the pairing called upon a relationship that first began 8 years ago.

"I know Titus from Newcastle from years ago," says Caldwell

"I didn't actually play with him but I know him and trained with him there so it was pretty easy to come in and get the partnership going and it's great to start with a clean sheet."
