Club can now confirm Olivier Kapo loan move to France

The club can now confirm that Olivier Kapo has joined French Ligue 1 side Boulogne on loan until the end of the season.

The deal was only completed this morning, Saturday, and the club can now confirm that everything has been finalised and that Kapo is available to play against his former club Auxerre next weekend.

The French striker, who has made just one substitute appearance in the Barclays Premier League this season after sustaining a serious knee injury during the pre-season trip of Austria, has not figured in the first team squad since early December against his former club Birmingham City, from whom he joined Latics in 2008.

Kapo has featured in 20 games in the Barclays Premier League, scoring once. His last start for the club was on May 9th, at West Bromwich Albion.
