Preview
Opponents Bolton are the only side in the Premier League yet to keep a clean sheet this season and both Latics and Wanderers have conceded 71 goals between them, therefore it would be reasonable to expect goals at the DW Stadium on Monday night.
Latics are unbeaten in their last three games against Bolton, winning two. Bolton failed to score in those meetings, taking their only point in a goalless draw at Wigan on 2 May 2009.
Team News
Wigan midfielder Mohamed Diame is ruled out after being forced off against Liverpool with a knee injury but he is the only player not available to Roberto Martinez.
Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season on Wednesday.
Gavin McCann is still recovering from an ankle problem.
