CONSISTENCY… OF A SORT

Wigan v Stoke Betting Preview

There was disappointment last weekend with Birmingham coming back to grab all three points. The visitors had drifted to odds of 15.0 after Charles N'Zogbia's opening strike but they came through strong. On form now over the last six games, Birmingham would be second only to Chelsea so maybe it was not such a bad result after all.

Here is something to take comfort from.Every time the Latics have lost in the last three months we have bounced back with either a draw or a win in our next outing. That includes the win over Chelsea and the only defeat of the season for Burnley at Turf Moor.

Stoke are strong at the Brittania Stadium but they have not won by more than a single goal since the opening day of the season and the Latics are capable of hanging in there and getting something from this. The odds against wiining or drawing on the Asian Handicap market are 1.83 and another way to play, especially if you are not able to make the trip might be to bet on their being very few goals. The odds against their being less than two are 1.88 with your money back if there are two exactly.

188BET, the official sponsor and betting partner of Wigan Athletic is the market leader in In-Play betting, offering markets on more than 3,000 games every month. The pre-match odds on this weekend's game are 2.12 Stoke; 3.85 Wigan; and 3.30 the draw.
