Latics Legend Neill Rimmer joins the online commentary team for the visit of Chelsea
There will be a very familiar new voice on LATICS PLAYER tomorrow afternoon, as former team captain and huge fans favourite NEILL RIMMER joins regular commentator Graham Lovett for our full match commentary.
Rimmer - and his famous flowing locks - were a regular feature in Wigan Athletic colours between 1988 and 1996, playing 228 games for the club, and very much spanning the pre and post Dave Whelan eras.
"The club has always remained close to my heart," says Rimmer, "so to come on board again and play my part will be fun."
Neill, now 41 but who still doesn't look a day older than when he played for us, is the first legend to come on board for LATICS PLAYER, watch this space for more guest commentator appearances!
