KIRKY KEEPS HEAD UP

'One of those nights we have to bounce back from' says Keeper
Chris Kirkland has stressed the importance ofLatics getting back on track in time for the arrival of Manchester United on Saturday, and put Tuesday night's game behind them.
"It was a disappointing night, we just weren't at the races. But you have to give credit to Wolves they didn't give us any space, closed us down all over the park and were extremely hard to break down," said Kirkland.
"If a team's closing you down and you're finding it difficult to manoeuvre then it becomes frustrating and you try to make passes that aren't there.
"They got their goal from a set-piece which they'll be delighted with, but from our point of view there's a lot of room for improvement.
"I don't think we really looked like scoring all night, but we'll keep going at it and get in the right frame of mind for the weekend.
The game was in stark contrast to that of Saturday's win at Aston Villa, but Kirkland is confident that the gaffer and the players will have put things right for the weekend, saying:
"After the result at Villa Park on Saturday that just shows how football can be sometimes, we found it hard to get going and as the lads have said after the game every time they tried to turn they had a player on their back.
"But we have to pick ourselves up, because we have a massive game coming up against Man Utd on Saturday.
"The important thing is not to get too despondent, this league has a funny way of bringing you back down to Earth when you least expect it but there's a lot of good about our team that we need to get back.
"I'm sure the gaffer will be drilling that into us over the next couple of days and have us ready for the Man Utd game."
You have you bad nights in this game from time to time and we just have to make sure we don't have too many this season."
