Bramble happy with attitude shown to help keep another clean-sheet
By Paul Chialton
Although Steve Bruce may be looking at how to improve Latics' goal tally after their third consecutive goalless draw on Saturday, one area he can be confident of is his defence.
Despite not having a great deal of threat to deal with against a lacklustre 'Boro side, the backline were as reliable as ever, and speaking after the game Titus Bramble commented on how the confidence permeating through the team has been a major contributing factor to their current form:

"Confidence is sky high amongst the team at the moment and we're going into every game believing that we're not going to be beaten.
"It was the same today and we've kept a clean sheet again, but I thought we were unlucky not to get all three points.
"It's easy to play in this team at the moment with our confidence being so high and all the players knowing their jobs.
"We're on a great run right now and we're such a hard team to beat so credit must go to the management and the players."
A big test awaits Wigan on Saturday as they get ready to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but Bramble insists the players are ready for the challenge and will be in the right frame of mind come kick-off:
"Every team we play are going to be difficult and we need to make sure that we go into the game with the right attitude we've shown in recent weeks.
"We're looking forward to the Chelsea game now and it's one of those fixtures every player should be up for playing in."
