LEWIS RETURNS TO ROBINS

Posted on: Thu 08 Jan 2009

Montrose returns to Waddon Road to help Robins climb out of drop zone.

The young Latics midfielder returned to Cheltenham Town on Monday to begin a second loan period under manager Martin Allen having spent two months there at the end of 2008.

On his previous loan spell, he made seven appearances for the Club and returns to help bolster their squad in a bid to lift them out of the relegation places.

Speaking to thisisgloucestershire.co.uk, Montrose said,

"It was an easy decision to come back because I really enjoyed myself last time I was here and I am happy to come back to Cheltenham."

"It's always good to play first team football and that's what I have come here to do.

"I have had no problems settling in again and after one session I feel settled because the lads are brilliant and the manager is good.

"I am ready to progress and hopefully the lads can get out of the relegation zone while I am here."
