A disappointed Lee Cattermole explained after Saturday's draw against Stoke City that Latics need to start scoring goals from other areas of the team if they are to start getting results from their performances.

Wigan have so far looked to strikers Amr Zaki and Emile Heskey to provide the firepower for the team, but Cattermole says it's important that goals are scored from elsewhere too;

"We need to get more goals from all over the pitch. We can't just rely on our two front-men Zaki and Heskey to pick up the goals."

The team were unfortunate not to get a result against Stoke after dominating the game and creating a lot of chances. Cattermole noted that that the team, and Jason Koumas in particular, had some good efforts and were unlucky not to score;

"I thought we were unfortunate today. Koumas had two great efforts which have been blocked and gone out for a corner when they could just have easily been blocked and gone into the back of the net."

The team will now prepare for Tuesday's League Cup clash against Arsenal as underdogs, with every intention of upsetting the odds and getting a result at the Emirates.
