KING GONE
Latics confirm that Marlon King will move to Hull City on a year-long loan deal.
Wigan Athletic have confirmed that striker Marlon King has signed for Hull City, on a season long loan.
The 28 year old Jamaica international's final appearance for the club - for the moment at least - came in Sunday's 2-0 win at FC Utrecht, in which he came on as a first half substitute for Emile Heskey.
The Club has also confirmed, that as per Barclays Premier League rules regarding loan deals, he will not be able to face Latics when Latics and Hull meet on August 30th or for the return match in March.
Latics manager Steve Bruce said: "We wish Marlon all the best. He is a good pro and he made a contribution last season. He has worked hard in pre-season and has made an impact, but he has chosen to move on for the time being."
For the record, King appeared 15 times for Latics last season, scoring once, a penalty in the 3-1 defeat at Ewood Park against Blackburn Rovers.
