New boys Daniel de Ridder and Olivier Kapo will feature against FC Eintracht Frankfurt in Austria tonight.

Steve Bruce has named the side to face FC Eintracht Frankfurt, who finished 9th in Germany's Bundesliga last season, and hands debuts to Daniel de Ridder and Olivier Kapo although the latter will have to start on the bench.

The game is the second of three fixtures on the Club's pre-season in Austria, their first a comfortable 3-0 win over FC St. Veit. on Saturday and Latics boss thinks that the Germans will prove to be a real challenge.

"This will be a rewlly tough test for us tonight" said Bruce.

"Eintracht Frankfurt have been back in pre season for quite a lot longer than us so I know its going to be difficult but we have had an excellent couple of weeks training and out here in Austria and it has been tremendous.

"It will be a tough ask to get a result tonight and the result is not the be all and end all its more about the performance , but having said that it would be nice to get another win under our belt."
