GOING, GOING GRON
Andreas Granqvist joins Dutch side Groningen
The club have confirmed that Sweden international Andreas Granqvist has joined Dutch club Groningen.
The 23 year-old was unveiled to the Dutch media last week, but until all the paper-work between the clubs was finished, and his registration was officially transferred, which only occurred this morning, Wigan Athletic have not been able to confirm the move.
Granqvist spent the second half of last season on loan at his former club Helsingborgs, his last appearance in the Barclays Premier League for Latics being as a late substitute in the 5-3 victory over Blackburn Rovers in December, although he did play the full ninety minutes in the FA Cup win at Sunderland in January.

He begun last season as a regular, however, starting the first eight games of the season and earning a recall to the Sweden squad.
Latics manager Steve Bruce said: "Andreas is a good young player and we wish him all the best. He would probably find his first team chances limited here, however, so I can understand that at his age, he wants to play. He goes with all our best wishes because he's a good pro and he's always given his all during my time at the club."
