Heskey Receives No Break Confirmation

In a season littered with bad luck, Wigan striker Emile Heskey must have once again feared the worst after suffering a foot injury in the goalless draw with Arsenal on Sunday at the JJB Stadium.

The Manager revealed after the game that he would need a scan to find out the extent of the injury. But the big Leicester-born front received some good news today with the medical confirmation that there was in fact no break.

Heskey missed 8 weeks earlier in the season after fracturing a metatarsal against Fulham at the JJB and the injury suffered on Sunday was on the same foot.

Whilst the news is good regarding the injury, it remains to be seen whether Heskey's foot will have healed sufficiently for him to face Bolton on Sunday.
