ERIK EDMAN CLEARED TO PLAY

Swedish International Erik Edman has now received international clearance to playing following his move from French Club Rennes last week.
The left-back will take the number three shirt for Latics and is available for selection for the FA Cup fourth round cup tie with Chelsea on Saturday at the JJB Stadium, kick off 5.15pm.
Erik's clearance came though just shortly after that of Honduran left-back Maynor Figueroa meaning that Steve Bruce went from having no recognised left-backs at the Club to having two, in minutes.
