Denny Landzaat looking forward to going back to the place where it all began this weekend - an exclusive interview on Wigan Athletic World

Latics' Dutch master Denny Landzaat says he can't wait to step back out onto the pitch where he made his Premier League debut last season, when Latics take on Newcastle United at St James' Park this weekend.

Landzaat says: "It will always stay in my memory as the first match for Wigan, and I hope this time we can go one better and get a result up there.

"It's a fantastic stadium, with an atmosphere second to none but none of us will be phased by that. We have made a good start to the season and go into the game full of confidence.

"I think the way we are playing and the players we have brought in shows how far we have come as a club, and that we are moving forwards all the time."
