800 season tickets in one day as fans flock to JJB
The JJB Ticket Office was swamped yesterday, as nearly 800 season ticket holdes were renewed or bought for next season. The ticket office is expected to be very busy again today, and tomorrow morning, the deadline for renewals. From Monday, all seats will revert to being on general sale.
Brenda Specer, Chief Executive said: "The groundbreaking move to slash prices and make sure we are the best value in the Barclays Premier League is clearly working. The fans are responsding in their droves and we are optimistic that they will keep coming on board the closer we get to the big kick off!"
Fans who have yet to renew have until 2pm on Saturday 23rd June. From 9am on Monday 25th June, sales will reopen with all seats in the East, South and West stands available for reservation with the exclusion of the executive seating area to the rear of the West Stand, which are not available for purchase without a hospitality package.
At an adult price of £250 for all three seating areas, Wigan Athletic provide the cheapest season ticket price in the Barclays Premier League and proof that Latics have responded to the needs of our fans.
