Participants from the Latics community scheme ground breaking health project Imagine Your Goals visited the first team training ground recently.
Three members of the project had the chance to watch the players train and have a tour of the facilities before getting the opportunity to talk to Connor Sammon and Mohamed Diame about life as a Premier League footballer.
Imagine Your Goals is a project aimed at improving the health and mental well-being of residents of Wigan by increasing the amount of sport and physical activity they take part in.
Each week Wigan Athletic Community Trust works with 35-40 people giving them the chance to play football, go swimming and enjoy a game of snooker and pool.

And once a month a side representing Wigan Athletic takes part in the North West Mental Health League playing teams from across the area.
As well as taking part in more sport, participants get the chance to receive support and advice from mental health professionals.
Sessions run on:
Tuesday: Swimming at Hindley Pool 12pm - 1pm
Wednesday: Football at the Powerleague Soccerdome 2-3pm
Friday: Snooker and Pool at Rileys (Wigan) 12pm - 2pm
Imagine Your Goals is funded by the Premier League and Sport Relief and is part of the national Time to Change campaign which aims to challenge stigma and discrimination around mental health.
