New Club addition makes Long Awaited Debut

On what transpired to be an extremely busy weekend for the Wigan Athletic Commercial Department, the Club and 188BET were delighted to finally be able to launch the 188CUBE.

Beset by wintry conditions preventing the structure from being built prior to both the Bolton Wanderers and Aston Villa Home fixtures, a break in the freezing temperatures allowed for the build to go ahead, and for us to be able to welcome along competition winners for VIP hospitality in the upstairs internal section, whilst fans were able to enjoy a variety of Wii games downstairs whilst meeting some of the key staff from 188BET.

In the upstairs section, our VIP winners enjoyed FIFA10 on XBox which was hooked up to a giant screen. Also in attendance were some former Latics stars to welcome the attendees, and with drinks sponsored by Molson Coors and gifts sponsored by Uncle Joes, it proved to be a great afternoon of entertainment.

Laics Commercial Director Paul Hunt commented, "This is another example of how the Club is working strongly with its Principal Partner 188BET, to the ultimate benefit of Latics fans. It was a world first for the Latics and as you can see from the photographs is an impressive structure. We look forward to working on many more initiatives and projects with the team at 188."

The first structure of its kind in the world, the Cube has been designed in a manner that will allow it to be used for a variety of purposes meaning that 188BET and the Latics can grow and develop brand awareness while at the same time benefitting our fans & the local community.
