ALEX CRIBLEY - PHYSIOTHERAPIST

A Latics legend who spent eight seasons at the club and made 268 league appearances, before taking up the post as physiotherapist.

Cribley joined Wigan Athletic in November 1980 and quickly became a favourite amongst the fans as a tough tackling centre-half.

He was a vital member of the club's promotion winning side in the 1981/82 season in which Latics moved up to the Third Division.

The 2010/11 season with mark 30 years at the club for 'Cribbers.'
