WILSON & MAYNOR GO BACK TO SCHOOL

Wilson Palacios and Maynor Figueroa went back to school this week looking to break down the language barrier.

The Honduran pairing of Wilson Palacios and Maynor Figueroa took time out to visit pupils of Balshaw's School in Leyland to assist with their highly successful 'Languages Day'.

The Latics stars faced questions from pupils about football and their about homeland of Honduras, with pupils having to translate the answers back into English.

Palcios, asked about playing at Wigan, said "I absolutely love it at Wigan, the weather's ok, it's a great club to play football at and the supporters are fantastic too."

Spanish Q&A

Left-back Maynor Figueroa, during a discussion about food, told of the amazing culinary discovery he's made since arriving in Wigan - Fish and Chips!
