Wigan Youth Zone will be the latest location to host Wigan Athletic Community Trust’s summer football camps from next week.
The courses are being provided throughout the summer holidays by the Community Trust’s experienced coaches.
Wigan Youth Zone is open daily for 8 – 12 year olds from 8am – 6pm throughout the summer holidays, with an entry price of £5 per person per day (£10 when not booked in advance). Access to all of the Youth Zone’s facilities, including the courses that the Community Trust are running, is included in this entry fee.
The sessions that the Community Trust are running at Wigan Youth Zone will include football coaching, tournaments and fun football based games.
The sessions at Wigan Youth Zone are running weekly from 4th August 2014, 10am-3pm.
So far this summer the Community Trust have held summer football camps at Lowton and St Edmund Arrowsmith High Schools, as well as at Mesnes Park, Abram Park and Hag Fold.
There has been a great level of participation at the courses, with over 100 children taking part at the various football camps since they began last week.
Before attending the football camps at Wigan Youth Zone, we ask that participants complete the attached form and bring this with them to their first session.
All young people must be a member of the Youth Zone to take part in the activities. Membership costs just £5 a year and can be purchased at the Youth Zone reception or online at wiganyouthzonemembership.org
Wigan Youth Zone runs a range of football coaching for youngsters, including our summer football camps, with support from the Premier League and the PFA.
