ROCHDALE vs WIGAN ATHLETIC
SATURDAY 19 JULY 2014, KICK OFF 3.00PM
SPOTLAND STADIUM

PREVIEW

Latics make the relatively short trip to Rochdale on Saturday afternoon as Uwe Rosler runs the rule over his side for a final time in the UK before he takes his side to his native Germany.

Unbeaten in pre-season so far, Latics have claimed victories over TSV Havelse and Turkish Superleague side Besiktas, drawing with Walsall 0-0 in between.

New signing Don Cowie could well feature for the first time in a Latics shirt whilst James Tavernier, Andrew Taylor, Oriol Riera and Aaron Taylor-Sinclair will all look to continue their positive starts to their Wigan Athletic careers.

James McClean and Marc-Antoine Fortune will miss the game following injuries they picked up in the last week, though the latter could still travel to Germany with the team.

Keith Hill’s Rochdale are preparing for life in Sky Bet League One after winning promotion from the fourth tier last season thanks to a third place finish.

ADMISSION

Cash turnstiles are in operation for the game with tickets priced at £10 for all adults and £5 for Juniors (16 and under).
