The on sale date for tickets to be confirmed in due course, with all tickets available to buy on the day.
The clubs have only ever met once previously, in 1972, as Les Rigby’s Latics beat the Brewers 5-0 at Springfield Park in the FA Trophy 1st round en route to the final with Micky Worswick notching a hat-trick.
This will be the first time Latics are involved in a First Round league cup tie for ten years. The last occasion came in August 2004 when Paul Jewell’s men lost at Grimsby, the side featuring the likes of Leighton Baines, Lee McCulloch and Jimmy Bullard. The season did end on a high note, however, with Latics reaching the Premier League.
