Wigan Youth Zone marks first anniversary this Saturday with carnival party.

Wigan Youth is one year old this Saturday and to celebrate young people and families from across Wigan are invited to a Carnival Chaos Party!

In a nod to the forthcoming World Cup and its hosts Brazil the event will have a special carnival theme with live music, food from the world, family games, colourful art activities and a football competition supported by coaches from Wigan Athletic Community Trust.

Wigan Youth Zone General Manager, John Harker said:

“It’s been an incredible first year for the Youth Zone and the support we’ve had from the community, young people and their families has been second to none.

“We’d like to say thanks for all the support so we’d love it if as many people as possible could join us for the Carnival Chaos party. This promises to be another amazing event for all the family, just like our Big
Bang Opening twelve months ago. We hope to see everyone on Saturday – don’t miss out!”

The Carnival Chaos event takes places from 10am to 10pm on Saturday 7 June and is free and open to all.
