Wigan Athletic v Reading
Sky Bet Championship
Friday 18 April 2014, kick off 3.00pm
Wigan Athletic will be looking to put Saturday's Wembley penalty shoot-out defeat behind them this Good Friday and to get back to winning ways with a victory over Reading in this 5th v 6th Sky Bet Championship clash.
Latics ran out 2-1 winners back in December in what was Uwe Rosler's third league game in charge of the club. Goals from Chris McCann and Nick Powell were enough to secure the the current manager's first away win, with the Sheffield Wednesday game abandoned four days earlier.
The 10-game booking amnesty passed last weekend so those players close to 10 yellow cards, namely James Perch, are no longer under the threat of a two-match ban.
Chris McCann and Ben Watson remain remain on the long-term injured list with Ivan Ramis joining them in the treatment room this week after he was forced out of Saturday's semi-final against Arsenal at Wembley.
For the visitors Mikele Leigertwood is suspended after being sent of for picking up two yellow cards against Leicester City, Jem Karacan is out for the season and Danny Guthrie is also ruled out.
