Another packed issue for this weekend’s game

Our official matchday programme is once again packed with exclusive interviews and features for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Bournemouth.

Ali Al Habsi is our cover star for the first home league match for the new year, and inside the 32-year-old talks about his return from injury, the battle he has ahead of him to keep hold of his place in the team and his plans for the future.

Elsewhere inside, Jean Beausejour talks us through his wonder strike in the last league match against Derby County at the iPro Stadium and Nick Powell tells us his favourites in 5 of the Best including; Zinedine Zidane, Wembley and Blackadder.

Going back in time, we look at a previous meeting between Latics and Bournemouth from January 1980, David Unsworth and Joe Parkinson feature in Swapping Shirts and Paul Rowley asks the question ‘what if...?’ in his Latics Scrapbook.

As always we have personal messages from Uwe Rosler, Jonathan Jackson and Gary Caldwell whilst the Wigan Observer’s Paul Kendrick casts his eye over the footballing week and our Community Trust section looks at the Team Latics Hub taking place before every home match.

All this and much more is waiting for you inside the latest edition of the matchday programme, available from programme sellers around the DW Stadium and inside the Club Shop on Saturday, priced at just £3.00, and if you’re unable to make the game you can order your copy online by [clicking here].
