If you think you can beat the Players' target, then come and have a go!
Members of the Latics first team squad took part in some special target practice this week when they competed in a 90 second penalty shoot out challenge.
Every half time throughout the season six lucky young fans will get the chance to step on the pitch at the DW Stadium to see how many goals they can score in 90 seconds or how quickly they can score ten goals.
The group of fans who score the most goals will be given a special prize at the end of the season.
The team from the Blackburn game managed 5 goals and this week it was the turn of the players to have a go when a team made up of Mike Pollitt, Chris McCann, Stephen Crainey, Grant Holt, Jordi Gomez and Scott Carson completed the challenge in 72 seconds.
They also had a go at a speed gun challenge with Scott Carson recording the fastest shot at 76 miles per hour – pretty impressive given the manufacturers have only ever seen a shot reach 74mph.
Supporters can get their own chance to take part in the 90 Second Challenge or to see if they can shoot as fast as Scott, by taking part in the Team Latics activities organised by Wigan Athletic Community Trust outside the South Stand each match day.
