Match Preview

Latcs take on the competition’s early leaders this Saturday at 3.00pm looking to improve on recent form that has seen the draw their last two home games 2-2, games Owen Coyle would have been expecting to win in order to be challenging for promotion come May.

The Wigan Athletic manager believes his side simply need to cut out a number of collective and individual errors to turn around his side’s fortunes while continuing to be effective up front.

Nottingham Forest have begun the new season well securely 10 of the first 12 points available with convincing wins over Huddersfield, Blackpool and Bolton followed by a respectable point at Vicarage Road.

Despite their good start to the season Billy Davies continues to look to strengthen his squad with Wolves reportedly turning down a bid for  winger Bakary Sako.
