Be a part of a brand new book and tell us what the cup meant to you

Wigan Athletic are planning a special edition publication to commemorate the historic FA Cup victory back in May, and we want you to contribute with your memories of the achievement.

Set to launch before Latics return to Wembley to face Manchester United in the FA Community Shield in August, the publication looks back on our adventure through the rounds, with exclusive insights into each game and never-before-seen pictures.

But we also want your stories of the cup-run, whether they be where you watched the games, funny anecdotes travelling up and down the country, the distance you travelled to see the boys or simply the pride at seeing your club lift the famous trophy at Wembley on May 11.

Everyone’s got a story to tell about the cup, so let us know what it meant to you and send your entries of around 50 words, together with a photograph of yourself that can be published to memories@wiganathletic.com the deadline for entries is 5.00pm Friday 12 July 2013.
