The youngsters had taken part in a four day course where as well as receiving daily football coaching they are also got the chance to take a behind the scenes tour of the DW Stadium and were each given their own t-shirt and report card and the end of the week.
During the half term holiday up to 200 young people a day took part in football training with coaches from Wigan Athletic Community Trust.
Wes Partington, Sport and Cohesion Manager said: “The amount of participants taking part in coaching with us each day was fantastic and to have the FA Cup at Abraham Guest was amazing for the young people.
“We are hoping to be able to take the trophy to as many different venues as possible during the summer holidays when we will be running different course across Wigan.”
Wigan Athletic Community Trust will be announcing its Summer Football Course dates in the next two weeks, including sessions to be held at the brand new Wigan Youth Zone.
