Wigan Athletic will wear their red third strip for the upcoming FA Cup semi final against Millwall at Wembley on Saturday 13 April 2012.
During a meeting between delegates of both clubs at Wembley Stadium last week, Millwall won the coin toss to determine which team wore what kit, and chose to wear their home strip which clashes with both Latics' first and second strips.
It means that for the second time this season, and for the club's first visit to Wembley in 13 years, Wigan Athletic will revert back to a traditional kit colour which has brought success during the club's history.
During the 2002/03 '100-point' season, red was the colour the team wore upon being crowned Division Two champions against Huddersfield Town at the McAlpine Stadium.
It was, of course, the colour first adopted by the club all the way back in 1932, with blue and white not featuring until 1947, and in which Latics beat Chelsea in the FA Cup in 1980.
Get your red shirt from the club shop now, together with FA Cup badges. From Friday, you can buy your official FA Cup semi final shirt with FREE FA Cup sleeve badge. The price of the red 3rd shirt including sleeve badge are as follows,
Junior short sleeve £29.99
