Arouna completes 90 minutes as Ivory Coast draw 2-2 with Algeria.

Arouna Kone made his first appearance in the Africa Cup of Nations yesterday as the The Elephants took on Algeria in the final game of Group D.

He played the full 90 minutes but, Ivory Coast fell 2-0 behind but fought back to claim a point, which saw them top the group on seven points.

Progression to the quarter finals will now see them face Nigeria on Sunday, setting up a potential meeting between Kone and former Latics forward Victor Moses after his Nigeria side finished second in Group C.
