The rules are simple, one point for a correct result and three points for a correct score.
Each week a different young professional from Latics’ Under 21 squad will face the task of predicting a round of Premier League results.
First up is 19-year-old forward Rakish Bingham:
SUNDERLAND 0-2 WEST BROM
“West Brom are going well and are in a Champions League place for a reason after a good start to the season.”
EVERTON 3-0 NORWICH
“Everton are a strong team this season and at home I think they can be very comfortable in games.”
MAN UNITED 4-0 QPR
“Old Trafford is a fortress for Man United and with QPR having the start they have had, I think United will have too much for them.”
STOKE 1-0 FULHAM
“Both teams are good for different reasons but Stoke are another team that are strong at home and Fulham haven’t got firing yet.”
ASTON VILLA 1-2 ARSENAL
“Arsenal might fall behind but, I can see Olivier Giroud scoring again and maybe another Santi Cazorla goal.”
SWANSEA 2-1 LIVERPOOL
“It will be a game of good football and Luis Suarez will carry on his run of goals but, there could be a European hangover.”
SOUTHAMPTON 1-1 NEWCASTLE
“Southampton are coming good for their manager at the moment and Newcastle are another team who have played in Europe this week.”
TOTTENHAM 2-2 WEST HAM
“It’s a London derby and anything can happen. Both teams have goals in them so a score draw is a safe prediction for me.”
CHELSEA 3-2 MAN CITY
“Rafa Benitez is in now and Fernando Torres might be back to his best soon, at home I think Chelsea are good for the win against the champions.”
