Remembrance Day video tributes inside West Brom edition

Wigan Athletic pay their respects ahead of Remembrance Day this weekend, when the team take on West Bromwich Albion at the DW Stadium.

A number of events are being lined up before the game and our matchday programme is also full of tributes to servicemen and women.

Using smartphones and Aurasma technology fans can watch exclusive video content from Roberto Martinez who gives his thoughts on a poignant weekend, and also a number of First Team players who read out an excerpt from Laurence Binyon’s ‘For the Fallen’ poem which will be read out before kick-off.

There’s also footage from the recent Team Latics Halloween Party held at the DW Stadium featuring Ryo Miyaichi.

Inside the programme James McArthur has the spotlight thrust upon him in our exclusive feature-length interview, Franco Di Santo talks about his recent international call-up and Ben Watson & Shaun Maloney reflect on last weekend’s stunning victory at White Hart Lane.

Micky Moore, the 1977/78 season and Enfield are the focus of our attention in the history feature The Bigger Picture, whilst Paul Rowley looks back at the 2002/03 season and our promotion from Division Two and we look at how the number 6 has played its part in the club’s history.

Neill Rimmer looks back at his previous encounters with Saturday’s opposition including a brush with Ron Atkinson and a wrong turn that left him red-faced.

We look back at the last two league matches against West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur in our Action Replay features, whilst we also have the latest from the Community Trust and club Academy progress.

All this and much more is available from programme sellers around the DW Stadium tomorrow for just £3.00.
