After scoring in the previous round against Nottingham Forest with a thumping header, the Argentinian forward showed another side to his came with two goals against West Ham.
His first goal of the night drew Latics level as he slid in to poke him a Maynor Figueroa cross and the second was an exquisite lob over the Hammers’ goalkeeper.
Boselli reflected on his goals by saying
“It is always important for a striker to score goals and I am very happy to have scored twice in the game.
“The service for both goals was very good so I am very grateful for that.
“The opportunity tonight was a great chance to show how willing to fight the players who haven’t played much are.
“I am very happy that we got the victory and the most important thing is that the team played very well against a good team away from home.”
